JOIN OUR MISSION!
Approximately 38,000 Clackamas County residents are living in poverty, with nearly half experiencing “extreme poverty” (earning less than 50% of the Federal Poverty limit). Additionally, homelessness is on the rise and Oregon holds one of the highest rates of hunger in the nation. Children living in these circumstances – facing poverty, homelessness, and hunger – can experience significant challenges to their physical health, social emotional development, and academic performance.
Our mission at Clackamas County Children’s Commission is to support the growth and health of these children and families, promoting positive parenting and fostering school readiness skills. Join us in this important mission by donating today!
